The company
WP Tech Support is an exciting tech company providing 24/7 support and maintenance plans for over 1,000 WordPress websites globally. With head offices based in the Isle of Man (UK), the majority of the team is remote and based internationally.
We are looking to further expand our team thanks to an exciting period of growth and several new strategic partnerships. The role and required experience / skill set
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated developer/engineer to deal with WordPress website support requests via our client support portal.
Workload will be organised by our project management team and will be varied and challenging.
The ideal candidate should be experienced in the following areas:
- PHP
- HTML
- CSS
- Page builders (Elementor, Beaver Builder, Divi, etc)
- WordPress theme editing & development
- JavaScript
- Git
- ManageWP
- BlogVault
- WordPress plugin development
And also…
- A natural problem solver
- Good written English
- Experience in using Asana is preferable but not critical
- Preferably a good ‘design eye’
- Ideally 3+ years experience of working with WordPress
Hours: Flexible given we’re a 24/7 service (40 hours per week)
Rate: Competitive based on experience, location and technical skills. We are a small company (circa 30 team employees) offering the flexibility of a remote role, which is reflected in the hourly rate we’re able to offer.
